I would never recommend TexasLending.com to anyone. Promised timelines were never met. We began the process two months prior to our scheduled closing - ample time to get everything finished. Our closer at the title company could not get anyone to return her calls. When we were notified that closing couldn't happen on the scheduled date no one was in the office to answer my many, many calls and emails. I even emailed the president of the company - I have yet to have a response. I left two messages for the direct supervis... read more

My experience didn't live up to the hype. The mortgage processor didn't communicate well. Instead of telling me next steps, it was always we need one more thing. When I called them on it, they had the gall to say I wasn't cooperating. They treated me as if my credit was just fair when its excellent. They would get no endorsement from me and others who heard of my experience wouldn't use you either. In my opinion, "you Don't got em!"

Do NOT use. They do not return calls and a closing date means nothing to them. I have advised all my agents not to use them either. Please use a lender that your Agent recommends and they have worked with before. They can afford commercials on TV but do not take care of their clients.

So, 5 weeks into the process (perfect credit, all necessary docs received, closing scheduled) they ask me to sign a closing disclosure. When I read it, it has the wrong loan amount, wrong payment, etc. I asked them to correct it before I signed. They honestly told me that I needed to sign incorrect documents before they could correct them! Literally, the VP of Closing told me that in order for her to be "in compliance", I had to sign documents that were not accurate. She said that the docs were just an estimate and not ... read more

I am very glad to see the great reviews for TexasLending but my experience was somewhat different. We are people who love to have excellent credit and we always check our credit scores to be sure of the accuracy and be sure our credit reports are correct. After buying and closing on three houses and doing a refinance on the property I own now, it seems as if I did as much work as the persons gathering information. I had to call several times for the correct paper work went to my employer for verification. I finally just to... read more

We were promised to close in 45 days. 102 days & 3 loan officers later, two quit the company without notice, we were finished. This company is awful at returning email and phone calls! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
