I just closed a loan with TexasLending. The people are nice and the process went smoothly, except that I did not get the rate that I was quoted, and it damaged me by approximately $5,800. I was quoted a rate on the phone on a 15 year mortgage. I then got an email quote at the same rate. Then I got a loan package with the same rate. Then, all of a sudden, the rate went up by 25 basis points. I pushed back and they said that "the market moved". I asked them to take it up with "management" but there was no response.

I don’t even want to waste my time explaining. You cost me about 2000 dollars through misinformation and misleading tactics. If you really care I would be willing to explain via a phone call. I will be posting public reviews. Dale at 936 449 6250

Everything was great until closing time. We saw a mistake on our city on the Closing papers. We told them that it was incorrect and the loan officer said “that is what legal said”. I kept telling her that the city was wrong. I also found out that we had signed a power of attorney page where the lender could make clerical errors, which I told my lender and she never responded. We signed our closing papers on Thursday, only to have to resign papers with the corrected city the following Tuesday evening on our original funding ... read more

We have used your services in the past and it was great. This time - the communication was terrible, missed deadlines due to being notified after 6:00 in the evening that doc were due before midnight, information on application docs were incorrect and it took several contacts from us to get them corrected and other issues that could have been averted with a personal call. It is unlikely that we will be recommending your services to our friends and family.

Texas Lending strives that they have the loan for you.... They say so in their commercials, " We go them". What they also have a loan processors and mangers that tell you falsehoods so they can get your business. Was told by Michael Todd that I would be able to set up a semi monthly payment option with whoever purchases the loan...... Not the truth. My loan was purchased by Wells Fargo and that option is not available.... Be careful and fact check other sources by for believing what you are told. I will never use T... read more

My very first question was, " How much will my closing cost be?" I was told 0..... After refinancing, over 5K was added to my principal. Be careful when refinancing with Texas Lending. This will take me years to recoup these cost. As expected, Texas Lending tells you whatever you want to hear to get you to refinance. During the process I wanted the loan set up for a semi month payment to reduce interest, was told by Michael Todd that can be set up with whoever purchase the loan. Within a month my loan was sold to We... read more
