Communication was virtually nonexistent and changes were made the night before closing that were never discussed.
Excellent experience - they professionally got me through a complicated financial and legal process to obtain my reverse mortgage!
The only contact was through computer other that the initial call and I felt uncomfortable and had to look up id#'s and phone numbers to make sure I wasn't giving my information to just anyone. The rest of the loan process was uneventful. Was not aware that my loan would be sold 3 times in less than a month. That is why I picked texaslending due to the fact that I trusted what I see on TV. Not always.
Every thing was done in a timely manner but i think their fees were higher than some other quotes that i received but I used tx lending because they are local and they got the job done.
A few issues with documentation. I kept getting different questions from various staff asking for the same info. It it all got word out
Although I was pretty satisfied with Sergio and team during my refi, I do, however, wish I had made sure I got a detailed review via phone of all the line item totals to have a better understanding prior. Feel like closing costs were extreme. Paperwork actually noted that the $15K+ almost exceeded legal limits. By the time it dawned on me to inquire about lowering them I was already there to sign. My fault mostly. Live and learn.
The process was smooth except for the 3rd party vendors used. The appraisal took more time than expected, and the Title company misrepresented what was needed for the funding to go through.
Went with local company rather than an out of state company. Michael Frank was very good. However, dealing with Narong San was a pain in the butt. Felt like I did all the work and he got paid. Had to jump through hoops at every turn. Wanted to pay off high interest credit cards but San without discussion had other plans. Glad we caught when we did. Dunno if I would use Texas Lending again.
Throw a Trust at these fools and They don't know how to handle it. Susan Ancell is rude and unprofessional
