OK, now I am going to make this clear from the start and save you the time from trying to figure it out. I fully support any type of drug treatment facility and I do not feel that enough is done in our state to help people out with addiction problems. It is pathetic to see that we have come so far over the past couple of hundred years and still can not grasp the idea that we sometimes must help others in order to make their life better, instead of watching them slowly kill themselves. Addiction is a disease as has been prove... read more

This place is awful. They allow folks to miss/leave group early, wonder around the facility all hours of the night, take their meds at 1am, and the list goes on and on. There was a patient who left early, telling them that they were going to hang themselves. Luckily, they were not successful, but why was that person not immediately 5150ed? I have called 3 times to talk to someone and no one answers the phone! I have never seen a more poorly run recovery facility. Run, don't walk to another recovery facility! If I coul... read more

Stay away...so poorly managed. For over a year I have been writing and calling Camp Recovery to get a bill that includes the appropriate codes for the care they provided. They continue to send a bill with only a dollar amount they want me to pay. I need an itemized, "normal" bill to submit to my insurer for partial reimbursement. I have told them until I get an itemized bill I won't pay. They keep sending the same 'balance due'. Because Camp Recovery refuses to respond to my continued requests I am now considering small c... read more

If you're interested in being in an environment where staff caseloads are too overloaded to allow for meaningful work this is the place! Setting is beautiful but in my experience, drugs were missed in numerous searches, campers routinely left campus, sneaking over the hill at night to have sex or get loaded. Because of their despicably low pay for the wonderful medical and tech staff, turnover is constant. I felt unsafe and when my concerns were voiced, only my incredible case manager, Cindy, advocated for me. I had legitim... read more

This place has many confusions. Meetings get canceled at the last minute and know one to replace to carry on meetings. Family visitation days are a huge miscommunication with the staff!!! For the money you pay to bring your Loved ones in, they don't seem to have a solid structure. We were told that visitors were welcomed on Sunday the 1st. I was just told that it's canceled till next week. It took 5 days for them to find out that there was a miscommunication upon the staff. I would not recommend this place at all.

Don't send you child here if you want them to live. The director is horrible!!! The staff is horrible. They took the money from my insurance company, kicked him out after 9 days. Called me saying I owed them more money. These people are evil. I actually give them zero stars.

My husband left after a week of being at the camp. He has been through a couple different programs and this is the first one he left early without completing the full 30 days. He has stayed at a 90 day program without ever mentioning wanting to leave, if that says anything. They kept pushing detox meds and over medicating him. He said this place was like a human farm and they cram as many people into their program as they can. This program seems to be all about how much money they can make. His counselor had so many cases ... read more

I was in the adolescent treatment center at the camp 3 years ago. My experience was poor, which further deteriorated my mental health at the time. Children were unsupervised to the point where cigarettes were picked up off the floor and used as chewing tobacco. At night, supervision was so low that many sexual relations occurred. What bothered me the most at night was when management allowed a female transitioned to a male room with me, as well as the constant anxiety when he would sit on my bed and discuss inappropriate top... read more
