This was by far my favorite rehab. It's gorgeous and in the forest. They have a pool, acupuncture, yoga, tons of outdoor time, everyone sleeps in nice little wood cabins. It's a mens & women's facility which could cause problems, but in my case it did not, all the other patients were kind and respectful for the most part. There's definitely a mixture of young and older, all different addictions. I met some really amazing people here and staff. Does not feel like typical "rehab", hospital, or a jail WHATSOEVER unlike some oth... read more

I am 16 years old. I was there for almost 30 days. At first, i was really depressed and hated it but that was because I was in withdraws. The techs and all staff there were very respectful when I wanted space, or stayed with me when I didn't want to be alone. They were always there for me when I needed it. They were they through all my mental breakdowns. They never left me alone when I was so mad i was punching walls or screaming. They actually care. One night I was having a really hard time and one of the techs in the adole... read more

The Camp is by far the best treatment program out there. The program focuses on mind, body, soul, and education providing top of the line support to the clients and their families. Medical Staff- clients are treated with respect and dignity. Treatment options and medications are discussed and agreed upon. Dr. Gearheart and Christine Miller, P.A. were kind, thorough, and thoughtful. The EMT and medtechs were pleasant, efficient, and precise is their duties. A special thank you to Joel, Kylie, Hunter, Roxanne, and Jaco... read more

I was an adolescent at The Camp and I want to express the gratitude I have for Burke Baldwin, one of the case managers. He was the easiest for me to talk to and he would always have great insight for those that wanted to listen. I can honestly say that he is the reason for me wanting to go into the field of psychology. I, as a teen, can say that many of the other adolescents are not open to the help at the camp; because they are usually forced to go by their parents. However if you WANT help, and are willing to listen and wo... read more

I can't give The Camp more praise and appreciation for my recent 1 year sobriety celebration. The staff there is wonderful. The counselors, the techs, Health Services, cafeteria personnel and all of the support service's that are available to you should you decide that this is the time for you to recover from your addiction are some of the most caring and supportive people I have met. Having other underlying issues to deal with can compound the addiction but these can also begin to be addressed at The Camp. Don't be mistaken... read more

I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Camp Recovery. As a parent, I appreciate all that the counselors and staff did for my 22 year old son. He was very skeptical about the program. I felt very conflicted when I dropped him off. But, I will never forget his first call home and hearing him say "this place is fantastic". I want to first acknowledge Jessica, who spent an hour on the phone with my son prior to admission, and convinced him to come to Camp Recovery. I was also very impressed with ... read more

I just read the last review posted about the outpatient program and I have a 100% opposite opinion. Ginger was also my teacher at the outpatient program and I have to say she was honest, inspirational, warm, relatable, approachable and loving. She helped me, accepted me, taught me. I learned so much from Ginger, I adore Ginger. Your program needs more staff like her. Thank you Ginger for helping me change my life and grow into a healthy, happy, strong, warm woman with healthy boundaries. I think of you and love you.

It's been nearly four years since I realized that I needed help. I found the help I needed at The Camp. My experience at The Camp helped me find out some important truths about my self and my addictions. It was difficult at times, but I knew I was in a safe place, and I found hope in those beautiful surroundings and in the caring staff. I could relate all types of stories about my stay at The Camp and all the crazy wonderful people I met and became friends with, late night talks with my cabin mates, laughing in The... read more
