I just read the last review posted about the outpatient program and I have a 100% opposite opinion. Ginger was also my teacher at the outpatient program and I have to say she was honest, inspirational, warm, relatable, approachable and loving. She helped me, accepted me, taught me. I learned so much from Ginger, I adore Ginger. Your program needs more staff like her. Thank you Ginger for helping me change my life and grow into a healthy, happy, strong, warm woman with healthy boundaries. I think of you and love you.

It's been nearly four years since I realized that I needed help. I found the help I needed at The Camp. My experience at The Camp helped me find out some important truths about my self and my addictions. It was difficult at times, but I knew I was in a safe place, and I found hope in those beautiful surroundings and in the caring staff. I could relate all types of stories about my stay at The Camp and all the crazy wonderful people I met and became friends with, late night talks with my cabin mates, laughing in The... read more

A few months ago we turned to Camp Recovery Center for help with our son's narcotics addiction. I had no idea how to research rehab facilities because the idea had never occurred to that my family may one day need the service. I read the Yelp reviews and wasn't sure what to think of Camp Recovery. But we were in a rush to find a suitable facility for our teen and quite frankly there aren't that many options when it comes to making such a decision. I wish this review could have been anonymous because I would have gone into de... read more

So far, The Camp has helped my family member immensely. He is still there, learning a lot about addiction and how to cope without substances. He loves the food especially, and is now determined to live alcohol free. For those who don't have anything good to say... I'm sorry your experience was poor. I guess it is, what you make it to be. For whomever said they care about the money more than the people, I can only say this.... I'm a nurse. I care about my patients. But if I wasn't getting paid WELL, I wouldn't do it. We... read more

I've visited this place several times and I am impressed with the activities and the learning that they have here for their clients. They aim to do a professional job and to help and when it comes to their doors. There is nothing that they will hold back to improve their clients. I even had lunch with them. They tried to keep the faith well-maintained and in the running working order. I can't say everything here is great because I don't know all the aspects of what they do. What I do know is that they try hard to make it hap... read more

Our family's 'loved one' recently completed the program and is successfully following the Camp's post recovery program, by attending meetings, lots of them, and living in a sober environment. The decision to try Camp Recovery after tries at other programs, has proved to be a good decision thus far! Our loved one recently spent one solid month at the Camp - If the patient is ready for change this place offers a good start at sobriety. The patients seemed to be as determined as the Staff to help their fellow campers rid thems... read more

My partner spent time at The Camp 20 years ago. Yup, it's rehab. No way to make it a walk in the park. But that stay did turn his life around. He passed from liver disease 4 years ago, but he was clean and sober for a long time. The Camp didn't make this happen--he chose to make this happen--but The Camp pointed him in the right direction. Thank you.

the reviews for the camp are really really hilarious. there was an ongoing joke between everyone about how crappy the yelp reviews were i was in the adolescent unit and im also one of the few who begged to go here. personally, i dont think there should be a yelp page for a rehab. i mean, most people are forced into rehab or pursuaded to. when an addict is doing something against their will, theyll find any excuse to complain. anyways, it saved my life. it is money down the drain if the person doesnt completely want to go ... read more
