Dr. Dodson is fantastic! All the staff loves my cat like their own and I trust them 100%. As someone who has taken my cat to multiple vets in the area I highly recommend the cat practice

My fur baby was very ill. Everyone at the Cat Practice was honest and realistic about her chances without being rude or brutal. They also took the time to comfort me and reassure me as much as they could. They were very kind, and the vet who saw her originally even called me to follow up after everything was done. They were supportive, and worked with me on pricing as they understood I am not in the most financially stable place right now. If you love cats, get ready to meet a vet practice who somehow loves them even more. Recently moved back to town and needed my orange boy Gus' limp looked at. Was able to make a same day appointment on line for a reasonable fee. Going for a vet visit where no dogs are around to spike the anxiety is truly a game changer. Mr. Gus was so relaxed, I swear he almost stayed with Dr. Dodson and her amazing crew! Highly recommend.

This is THE best place to take your cats to in Nola, and probably in the whole country. Dr. Dodson is a miracle worker, she puts in the extra legwork to make sure you and your cats are well taken care of. So this is actually my second experience with the Cat Practice, as they initially took care of my kitty Viper 10 years ago when I first lived in New Orleans. Took really good care of him, including treating him for a bad flea infestation (darn roommate that wouldn't treat his dog for fleas kept giving my cat fleas, poor Viper was miserable!) and getting him through a severe respiratory infection that did require a brief hospitalization. I cannot recommend the Cat Practice enough--every single member of their staff takes the time to make sure all my questions are answered, and is kind and patient with me and my kitty. I have every confidence in them, and board with them as well as bring my kitty in for regular veterinary care. They care about my kitty just as much as I do, and that is a huge relief when you have questions or concerns. I always find their care thorough and professional. Would highly recommend!
