I wouldn't trust my kitties with anybody but Dr. Cousins!! Excellent care and a fabulous staff. I have boarded my kitties with them while I went away also, and I couldn't have asked for better care of my babies. If you're like me, and your cats are your children, you will not be disappointed boarding and receiving veterinary care at the cat practice!!! They really are the best of the best in kitty care!!!

Dr. Cousins is THE vet to take your kitties for care. I have been with him for about 9 years and have never regretted switching to his care. Dr. Cousins is very intelligent, kind and will care for your kitty as if it were his own. I highly recommend him for cat owners. Erica K
I love their hospitality and their charisma at this place. A little expensive but only because they take a lot of precautionary measures. The location a little not centralized and small for being one of the only cat boarding places in NoLa. I still recommend them. They take good care of your kitty. And they are very sweet!
I started this review years ago when I brought my cat, Iphy, here and was pretty impressed with the level of customer service, from the moment you walk in the door. Dr. Cousins is the best! He and his crew (shout out to Ginja and Joann too) always provide top tier care for my three kids! When my oldest was battling for his life with some kidney issues, Doc Cousins not only informed me on a very basic level what his situation was and all my options with the biggest heart and compassion possible. Although my cat is a healthy one, I'm so glad I chose the Cat Practice for my vet! I've put off yearly visits before because other vet practices were so rough with my kitty, but everyone here is patient, calming, and seems legitimately interested in getting you and your pet the best and most appropriate care. Any recommendations or future procedures were thoroughly explained and priced out before I made any decisions. This was the first veterinary practice I've seen designed specifically with cats in mind. It was apparent in how they interacted with my cat and how patient they were with him even though he was feisty while getting shots. Dr. Cousins and his assistant made me feel welcomed. I'll definitely be recommending this place to others who have feline companions. This facility is also cleanly and inviting.
