About The Chef My name is Paul Friedman and I like to think of myself as just an ordinary guy who has had a lifetime love affair with food and the fortune of having owned and operated 58 restaurants in South Africa, Europe and the United States. Celebrated spouse’s birthday and our meal was the best we have had in long time. Menu was wide ranging with the usual steak and seafood, but also South African cuisine and many Chef’s sauces. Our server, Jane, was excellent. We will definitely come back.

All the flavors were Amazing and I savored every bite, from the appetizer of stuffed peppadu peppers, to the sole, Brussel sprouts( the best anywhere ) and Chef Paul's sticky toffee pudding cake. Yum and Double Yum!

We came here for restaurant week. The food was great and the atmosphere was really nice. If you're okay withput high chairs, it's okay to bring kids.

Came in for a few drinks and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere inside. The bar was nicely lit with some good bourbon choices on display. However, it was my bartender that elevated my experience at The Chefs Table. Helen was so kind and charismatic I completely forgot about the horrible day that occurred before I walked inside. If you’re looking for a great cocktail with personable yet professional service, don’t hesitate to go in and ask for her.
