The room we made the best of. The staff was professional helpful and friendly. Small room woodwork dirty chipped paint, dirty carpet. Bathroom sink and tub drained slowly toilet base wobbly no towel rack by sink. Bathroom door would not close. lobby and 1st floor was grand architecture and ornate.

old hotel, nice view on the lake, good position in the city center (the loop) pretty old hotel, waredrone stinky, malfunctioning tap in the bathroom city center, close to the blue line - connection to o’hare airport

this place is a horror show. no hot water. paint peeling off the walls.
The Congress Plaza needs some work on it. The rooms are nothing like in the picture. The entire place needs a update. Not worth the money I paid. Location to conference and that is all.
