Fair Bath towels were ridiculously small.
Lobby WOW…..Rooms UMMMMM Hallways and rooms had damp/ mold smell. We appreciated the architecture and were aware it was a very old hotel when we booked it, but it has not been kept up well. Location is great. 20 min walk from Union station and 20 min walk to soldier field
Weekend Getaway The staff was incredibly rude and with the price we paid they shouldn’t have been. No one explained anything at checkin, no one available to help with our luggage, no parking available, no valet option, beds were incredibly hard/firm so no comfortable, water pressure sucked, and you could hear everyone in the other rooms and in the hallway. Our Experience We woke up both mornings with cockroaches in the bathroom sink. The water in the tub didn’t drain properly either. The staff was very nice and the location was good.
Unfortunately overpriced and dirty. Would not stay again. Everything. Rooms small. Little seating. Carpet tacky and odor. Bathroom door does not close. Does not fit frame. The location was excellent. Overpriced. Beds small. Pillows dirty. Air conditioner load and not cold.

There are lots of hotels around this location, I would recommend booking any of the others over this The beds are the least comfortable things I've ever slept on, we woke up with neck and back pain every day. If you like firm (very, very firm) beds you might be okay. Do not bother going to the restaurant downstairs for breakfast.
