Very Poor
Disappointing
Bad The hotel is old, but the lobby was beautiful. Heading to your room was a different story. We arrived and our bed linens had not been changed. There was hair all over our sheets and the stained mattress was atrocious. We called the front desk to send up news sheets and they never informed housekeeping, she stated there was only one person working in this large facility. An adequate no frills hotel. Price is quite high for the poor caliber of the hotel. Location to Millennium Park & Art Institute of Chicago.
Just not worth the money. The room was musty, cheap furniture and the fan was loud and temp was too cold or hot even when adjusted. The lobby was lovely but the rest of the hotel has seen its days! The location and the history of the hotel
Loved in the past, not so sure now Didn’t get the view room asked for. Was told told there were none, yet the website shows view family suite. Front desk clerk tried to charge me again yet I had already paid. No apology but did fix it. Interior view is not my thing. Only two glass glasses in a suite for six. Refrigerator outside cabinet that had another refrigerator. What? Bathroom door handle is broken. Luckily no one was unable to get out. Smoke alarms chirping in hallway. Air conditioner barely kept the room comfortable. ... read more
Not coming back Staff wasn't very friendly nor helpful. Hotel needs urgent repairs. Great location
Bad They didn’t give my refund
Mildewy, damp room Room smelled of mildew and all the surfaces, including the bedding, were damp. Shower took 10 minutes to heat up but didn't drain properly so we stood in six inches of cold water to shower. Location is great, nearby to the art institute and park.
