Disappointing No valet, that is one reason I booked here. There was still candy and debris on the floor like they didn't vacuum. The pillows were of the poorest quality in any hotel I ever stayed at. location

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! WORST!!!! Stay in Chicago ever. The room next to us, we’re very loud and noisy. We called numerous of times to the front desk to let them know about it. And they did nothing about!?! They had music up really loud and people were yelling and laughing loud. We told the staff and they acted as if they didn’t care. I highly would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. And he we had the king suite. Nothing! It was messy and the staff were not very Attendant. Worst stay we ever had in Chicago.
Poor condition, very dated Whole building is in poor condition. Very dated - historic building that was partially remodeled in the 70s and has hardly been touched since. Great location. Historic building.
Fair Old and needs update the wear was evident. There was smoke odor in the room when we arrived so we needed to leave windows open overnight. I will not stay again if I have other option for hotel. Location was great you can get walking everywhere.
Disappointing Too high priced for such a little room. It was $198 just to sleep for a few hrs.
The Congress is a nice historic hotel close to a lot of places. Would not stay here again. The staff was not very friendly. We had a member of the cleaning staff call my father an "old fool" because he asked for extra k-pods one morning. This was after she had reprimanded him the day before for not "doing it right" the first time he asked for extra k-pods. It was ridiculous. Disappointing Rooms haven’t even updated and have a very weird smell. Location was nice, right downtown close to everything.
The family room is bad, the door doesn’t close its rotten, the carpet is so nasty , I put a new sack on and walk around It’s haunted old and dirty The area is good that’s it
