I have never had a bad meal love pei mussels
Searching for seafood on the south shore? This is the place. Superbly prepared seafood and excellent attentive friendly service. Our son loved the fish and chips, with Oar's special chips, yum! Fish specials were delicious. Live music and a Christmas party were underway making our evening all the more lively.
Food was very good and the service was great! But the noise level was so high it was difficult to have a conversation. Definately not the place for a romantic dinner. Being on the water I'm sure it would be a lovely place to dine in he summer.
I've been here multiple times and I'm pleased with the service & food as always!

we have tried the rest by the water and find the the oar restaurant is great great views and food.
As a frequent repeat customer, this is a great place to relax by the water with drinks and oysters or full dinners. Seafood fra Diablo is great with plenty of seafood. Most servers are good and professional but there are a couple of inattentive ones, like the one on my last visit, that can ruin your day. The live music is usually very good and at an comfortable volume.
The food at The Oar Steak and Seafood Grill matches the great outdoor water view. Plenty of good choices and the lobster club sandwich was delicious and huge. Nice breeze on the day we had lunch. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend!
