Always great food as well as a great time at the Oar!!
Very nice setting, good food. We will go back , also, when it is warmer to eat outdoors
The food was delicious but they seemed quite understaffed so we ended up having to wait longer than expected for just about everything. So enjoy your meal but prepare for a long evening

We met another couple at Oar on a Friday night. There is live music on Friday nights, but the hostess sat us in a quieter area of the restaurant per our request, so that we could enjoy conversation. The food was very good and our server was excellent in making recommendations. The other couple had not eaten at Oar before and were very pleased as well. Will visit again.
Food was excellent
This was my first visit having heard nothing but good reviews about your restaurant. The appetizers (lobster wontons and crab and spinach dip) were wonderful. The entrees were amazing. My sister had the Salmon and I had the fish pot pie. I also liked the fact that we weren't rushed. The staff was friendly and the service was great. Wish we would of had room for dessert!!! I will be back and will recommend your restaurant to whoever will listen.
Pretty consistent food here which is hard to find these days. We can pull in on our boat or auto either one food is great.
we have been to the Oar many times and always enjoy the experience,. the monly problem is the parking lot after rain or much snow it is muddy.............so that's my big complaint... the food is great.
