The refi took a very long time. I sent in duplicate paperwork and my estimates were still off. After researching, I learned an appraisal is not necessary in a refi. I do not feel my experience was the same as others. However, Rebecca was the best. She was dependable and responsive to all my inquiries. She was the main reason for me not stopping the process. Thank you Rebecca!!

Constant request for documents already submitted; worked for the builder and not us the buyer; processing our loan at a higher interest rate than should have; fees not satisfactorily explained and working with builder that erects substandard homes and unskilled workers. If we had to do it over again, we would NOT select the builder nor mortgage processor

Effective communication between the lender and myself and the lender and the seller’s agent would have led to a more pleasant experience for me. At the very end of the process, many of my emails were left without any response and last minute communication occurred frequently which did not grant me adequate time to prepare in a way that would have been comforting to me.

The process was terrible, I kept getting more and more requests to provide papers which were already provided and getting prof for irrelevant data. In some point of time, I was about to give up the process as it span over too much time. I will never do business with this bank again and will recommend any one I know to do the same.

Better communication. 5 different people contacted me about my file during this process (sometimes at the same time). Figuring out who to contact was difficult and confusing. Even with a lot of different hands on my account I was never able to get in touch with someone when I needed and important information was not communicated to me until the last minute. Never spoke to Laura Brown personally, that would’ve been nice since her name is on my account.

The underwriters made it a horrible experience. They asked for information on the last possible day then saying we might have to push closing back along with not wiring the money thus extending closing nearly 4 hours
