I rated low because I’m a first time homebuyer and no one didn’t help me or explain things to me like they should I basically learn a lot on my own.... just need more communication with their customers not at the last min when it’s time to close

I went with Banksouth through Rocklyn home because they offered incentives. The communication between BankSouth and I was okay. Nic Smith was the most helpful! He answered all of my questions, was very attentive, and easy to communicate with. Bank South asked for several documents through out the process that I submitted when asked but when it came down to the wire ON THE DAY OF CLOSING, JUST HOURS before I was still not cleared to close, as they had not looked over my documentation. Frustrating

Everything was fine until Sasha Wilson took over. Her communication was terrible never answered her phone and her voicemail is very loud. Her reply’s to emails was rude! She honestly made this process stressful for me asking for more information every single day and at the last minute.

Not waiting until the day before closing to open a file and there was poor communication and contact. Up until this point my experience was pleasant.

Everything went well until processing not that the processor was not good bc she was good, the only issue was that when faxing over documents she failed tell me that I needed to fax over the blank pages with the numbers on them or any pages that just had a disclosure on them, that was the only issue but eventually we got a understanding and the correct documents were faxed. For a first time home buyer all details need to be communicated because it's their first time and it's very overwhelming

Numbers were wrong many times on the paperwork including the final attorney's paperwork. Maybe they have too many customers at once to make each customer feel special. I did not feel that way until I said I was going to take my business somewhere else.

Laura's staff was great to work with. Since I've been in the mortgage industry for over 40 years, I didn't need as much advice and understood why they were requiring certain items.
