Theo’s is a fun new place with a super cool interior and an interesting menu. We sat upstairs and enjoyed a little side table overlooking the main dining area. There was a slight snag at first with our server not being notified we were there which the hostess apologized for profusely - outside of that, everything was great. Try the pizzas - especially the fig pig! The menu states it feeds “1-2” but please trust it’s a 2 person pizza lol. The garlic bread is awesome and the cocktails reasonably priced. Our first time here but won’t be our last. Calamari appetizer was absolutely perfect. Breadsticks unique and delicious. Chopped salad a bit too heavily dressed but still delicious. Four cheese ravioli is a must try. The pizza was not our favorite as the dough is think and the cheese heavy. The service was impeccable
Run to this restaurant! Absolutely delicious food from the appetizers to the entrees. Our favorite was the burrata and focaccia appetizer as well as the bucatini and meatballs. Atmosphere was very nice, clean and quiet. We’ll be back…next week!
Love the fact that Plainfield has a Roman-style Italian restaurant! Definitely worth checking out for a different twist on Italian food.
This was our first time dining here. Isaac was our waiter and was a joy. He gave us great recommendations. He was kind and very helpful. Would sit in his section again!
The Cunningham group has sadly dropped the ball after all their great endeavors. They have tried to reinvent the Italian restaurant and have come up short. Basic Italian ain’t that difficult.
Tables very close together. Overall the food was excellent. We ordered a margherita pizza which did not have crushed tomatoes on it nor basil. It had some sort of micro greens on it which the waitress was unable to identify. The highlight was the antipasti board which I highly recommend.
Theos was excellent! Our server, Katelyn was very good. She had great suggestions on food and was very attentive. The bucatini and meatballs was excellent as well as the tagliatelle carbonara. The brussel sprout ceaser was so interesting and delicious. The drinks were great too! I would highly recommend going there.
We were very pleased with Theo's. We were especially shocked at their attention to detail as we indicated this was an anniversary celebration through our open table reservation. The first words from the hostess as well as our waitress was "Happy Anniversary". It was a great beginning to a very wonderful evening.
