A little slow service but they did just open. The pasta may have been in the kitchen a bit before being served. I would have liked it to be hotter when served.

Business response:

Im truly sorry to hear your experience was matched by our high quality standards. Still working thru some important elements. I hope you will give us a chance to earn that 5th star!

We usually don't go to restaurants on opening night but we decided to give Theo's a go. Started with the breadsticks which were excellent. My wife enjoyed the pizza (called Pinsa on their menu). I had pasta which was also very good. Glad to have another restaurant option in Plainfield.

Business response:

Thank you very much for the great review. Cheers!

Service was fine but the food was very disappointing for a Cunningham restaurant. Probably won’t return.

I've been to many of the Cunningham restaurants and this one left me disappointed by comparison. The building smelled like they had a dried floor drain. The food itself was fine, but I expected better. It just didn't feel like the same attention to quality and detail. Overall it felt rushed. The whole dinner seemed like a hurry and it showed in the quality.

Business response:

Bar service was slow, finally got drink when meal arrived. My favorite item since it opened was the Pizza.! Loved it. The completely changed the recipe and tastes like frozen pizza now. Big fan of Cunningham Restaurants, but this one is going downhill.

Business response:

Hey Bruce, We're sorry to seem to have dropped the ball on this visit. We hope you'll consider giving us a try again, we've implemented changes to our menu recently and seem to be still working out some kinks but plan for these changes to only improve our classics. Kind of expensive. 3 for dinner. I had pasta which was okay not great. The other 2 had pizza. Fig pizza has fig jam on it not figs and my daughter didn’t care for it. My husband had margarita pizza which he liked. Crust is great. We all had salads which are ala cart, glass of wine and one mixed drink. $106.00 plus tip

Business response:

Thanks for visiting us, Irene! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed our fig pizza and crust. We appreciate your feedback on our pricing and will take it into consideration. We're always striving to provide a memorable dining experience for our guests. We're happy that your husband liked his Margherita pizza and that you all enjoyed your salads and wine. We look forward to serving you again soon!

Food is okay, lacks flavor. Asked for San pelligrino and we were given a warm bottle of it and no glasses to drink it from. Unimpressive and not what you expect from an Italian restaurant. The restaurant had most all tables open and that was definitely a sign.

Business response:

Thanks for the review, Corrine. We're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the flavor of our San Pelligrino and the table setup. We strive to provide a unique dining experience, and we regret that we fell short in this aspect during your visit. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our offerings and service. We hope you'll give us another chance to impress you in the future.
