My therapist has been great, but dealing with Thriveworks billing has been nothing short of a nightmare. They sent me a statement for charges multiple representatives could not explain. They escalated it and I was promised a return call in 72 hours and it’s been over 3 weeks. I called several times in between. I have been told this is happening to many people. Therapist was great for my son, but I can tell this company itself is shady and more than likely does not attract quality professionals as they have poor backend technology, customer service, billing departments. Read some reviews from Glassdoor and it appears many Thriveworks employees are paid poorly as well. Very frustrated with Billing and Customer Service. Non-stop billing issues, multiple calls to “support” when appts disappeared-hours spent trying to resolve both scheduling and billing issues. Positive: therapist is excellent

My wife and I have been working with an amazing counselor but have become victims of their over charging and credit card practices. They have over $300 of our money that was just randomly charged and we are told over and over again that it will be rectified and someone will call us… no one calls back no one on support can help and they hung up on us. Scammed me out of $30. They charge a "subscription fee" of $30/month, which I paid back in December so I could try a session. I decided I didn't want to see this counselor and called to cancel my subscription. They have billed me ANOTHER $30 this month, despite my subscription being canceled in December. They keep insisting they haven't billed me, despite me sending screenshots to their billing department. Absolutely abominable experience so far. My counselor actually got so fed up he left Thriveworks. I keep trying to get my medication straight, and it has been difficult for months.

They overbill for services not rendered and never refund. Thriveworks will “yes” you to death that they will have a supervisor call you back, but it never happens. They are agreeable and apologetic on the phone but they have NO intention of returning stolen payments. They lie when challenged. Thriveworks is not a reputable company as regards billing your credit card. Let me repeat, they lie to you about wanting to resolve the over billing issue.
