Awful experience dropped off gold chain with damaged end that the clasp needed reattaching Told what it would cost and picture taken 4 weeks later called to say chain could not be repaired When I collected chain in 5 pieces very twisted and wrong paper work included Was told was too brittle to be repaired and that it had been damaged in transit It was made to seem if it was my fault it was damaged in transit even though picture was 1 end only damaged new picture showed it in 5 pieces I have accepted that the chain brittle bu... read more
Pretty poor experience. Damaged my watch trying to change the battery when it's a simple pop off cover. Some deep scratches on the rear and front. Sent it away to head office, came back with no repair. Was given a number to ring head office, but did not even attempt to repair the damage. Definitely lacking experience and knowledge
Took 5 visites to workshop to get problem sorted. Thankfully last visit the problem was sorted at no extra cost I am so grateful as I do not have a lot of money and it was a present from my youngest daughter when she got married. So I say again it’s going well and Abigail thankyou to everyone.
I don’t collect my watch nobody told me it was ready to collect. Someone else must have taken it
I have had to take my watch back yet again as it is malfunctioning once more. Some of the staff are very friendly and helpful though.
Initially thought excellent service replacement apple watch face, polite and quick service, but after a month in the sun the face lifted and the watch looked just as it did when I took it in. They did not believe that the watch had not been dropped again and would not help. Both my husband and son work in the adhesives industry and know exactly what had happened but as Timpsons just send the watches off and have no knowledge they don't really know what they're talking about! Will never use again.
Had my Nixon watch quoted to repair I excepted the quote then I got phone call to say they couldn’t do it and was returning it when I got watch back it was worse than before the tide hand had come off during quotation watch had not been repaired
Great service at the shop, but once it reached the workshop the trouble started. Took weeks to get a quote for the repair, once received I asked a question wrong thing to do as I was promised an answer which never happened. Chased again a few weeks later, promised an answer yet again never happened. Phoned again and asked why I didn't get a call, told I'll get someone to phone you. I took a necklace with a broken chain to be repaired. The woman in the shop was really helpful. She took photos, make a sketch and suggested that the chain could be soldered. It was sent off to the workshop. I then got a phone call from the workshop saying that they were not sure if the chain was gold or a base metal. I was surprised as I had believed the whole things was gold but I still wanted the repair.
