Be careful. I ordered this product and received in Feb 21. Didn’t need it until 3 months later which was past the return date. I usually order so I have one available when needed. When I plugged it in when I really needed it. Empty.
Dissatisfied customer! Customer service is not customer friendly. Cartridge only lasted ONE month printing only text documents. My last cartridge lasted TWO years performing same type of print jobs! I’m a senior citizen and rarely print documents/emails. Called customer service and got Steve G. in the Dominican Republic. He was extremely discourteous, talked over me, and repeatedly read same thing from his script. Came in a box that said it was DR-760, but the label on the cartridge itself was DR-730 DR-730 contains ink for 1200 pages and DR-760 contains ink for 3000 pages. I paid double and purchased DR-760 to get a cartridge with more ink. The box that the cartridge was shipped in was marked DR-760. However, the cartridge inside was labelled DR-730. I suspect I was cheated out of ink.
Fake cartridge I got a non genuine cartridge in a Brother box! So I paid $71.69 for a TN760 which stopped working when it was showing half full. This cartridge doesn't have the Brother logo on the top or the model number on the tab in the front, just a paper sticker "TN760" so it's a generic cartridge like the ones that sell for about $29.00. I'm not happy, and will buy replacement cartridges from Brother directly.
Defective and Bad Customer Support from Brother I got this even though it is more expensive that non-Brother brand version, because Brother states that you should use their branded cartridges. This cartridge gave a low toner error message upon installing it. This was also our first new cartridge after running out of the pre-installed version in our brother printer. Brother sells good, reliable and inexpensive printers. They soak you on the toner. "High Volume" cartridges...what a joke. With the cost of paper, it works out to about 8 cents a side with medium setting of just basic text. Close to $150 for two? That's a "Bargain Pak?" Are you effing kidding me? I'm sick of plastic that is NOT re- or down-cycled and just gets dumped in a landfill, likely in another country by the container load. Contents not what box says The box says it is a Brother TN 760 cartridge as ordered. The contents of the box is not even a Brother cartridge, nor is it a TN760 compatible. It is several inches narrowed and no way it will fit. Box looks good but contents is not what I bought. Inside product bag was open already.
Not cost effective This did not yield 3000 copies. It didn't even yield 500! Unfortunately I bought it in 2019 thinking it would last me a long time but I have replaced it twice in one year and use it maybe twice a week for a few copies. I bought high yield because I was tired of throwing money away in printer cartridges and now am still throwing money away.
Prints fewer than advertised Was able to print around 800-1000 pages before being told to replace. A high yield? Not so much
