I had a wonderful experience at Broadway Toyota in Portland. Our Sales Representative Ian Killough, was so helpful finding us what we were looking for. I was very comfortable speaking with Ian Killough. That is why I gave the rating of 5 for both Customer service and friendless. I have nothing but good things to say about Broadway Toyota.
Ian was not your typical Sales Person and Broadway not your typical dealer. Coming off a very bad experience at another Toyota Dealer I just wanted to get the deal made and drive away fast. I started the On-line negotiations for a vehicle that they had in stock, within minutes of sending the information there was "personalized" correspondance. I loved my experience at Broadway Toyota-Scion. I really can't compliment them enough. We had contacted Ian previous to showing up at the dealership about what we were looking for, so he was expecting us when we arrived. Ian is a fantastic guy, a blast to talk to, and very accomodating, honest, and knowledgeable about the products that they sell there. I really appreciated the fact that Erika was willing to work with me on my terms, meaning that she did not insist upon contacting me by phone (which is terribly inconvenient because of my workplace). She did this entire transaction via email because I let her know that that works for me. She sent me the specs on my car, the price including the discount she was able to give (the price worked for me) and I simply had to come in to pick up the fully detailed car on MY schedule. Broadway Toyota was very good to work with. First, they had the RAV 4 we wanted -- other dealerships did not and/or could not get access to this particular vehicle. We wanted the optional 3rd row. Second, although Broadway Toyota is not part of the Costco program (we had been working with a dealership previously that was), the price we paid for the RAV 4 seemed comparable with the Costco prices we had been given. Bill Andrus was like no other salesman I've ever dealt with. He was friendly, very personable and one of the most interesting and fun to talk to people I've ever met. Someone I would like to hang out with outside our professional relationship. He answered all of my questions but wasn't pushy at all and just let the car sell itself. I felt at ease immediately with Bill. There was never any pressure or unnecessary sales pitch. I already new I wanted to look at a Prius, but didn't know if I could swing the deal. Bill assured me he'd do everthing possible to make it happen. I never once felt intimidated or hassled. I truly got the car I wanted at a price I could afford. They didn't talk smack about my trade-in, either. Thank You!!!
