Food quality declined and they removed the best item on menu, balsamic glazed tuna. How can they remove a signature dish? Also Mushy pasta. Very disappointed from what used to be one of my favorites. Still not terrible but there are better choices.
We did not have a great experience eating dinner at Trattoria Dell'Arte. The salads and pesto pasts dishes which we ordered to share as an appetizer were all fantastic - so we were off to a great start. Our entrees were another story. Besides being told that the Bronzino was the "Best in Town", it was low quality and smelled "fishy". One of our guests sent it back for another dish because it was inedible. My wife, who chose the same dish, opted to just pushed the fish around her plate - she lost interest in eating. The Grill... read more
Kitchen was incredibly slow and food was bland and with way too much salt on everything
Almost an hour wait for spaghetti and lasagna. Manager said he was sorry. We were given a deep fried appetizer that was served at room temperature, which I'm assuming was some sort of gesture to appease us. The appetizer was not good. And when the waiter asked if we liked it, we said no. Food was average and ridiculously overpriced which I guess is what happens in New York. A dessert or maybe a discount for the inconvenience probably would have gone a long way. I guess we can assume that since were tourist then that's why th... read more
Noisy. Messy. Bad service. Not good value for money. Food was good but not for the price. A zoo.
I have been to the restaurant many times and it has always been good. I generally go at lunchtime. We we t for dinner and I was disappointed. My fish was inedible and the broccoli rabe cold. The waiter was kind enough to return my fish and I ordered sausage and peppers, which was fine. The food seemed mass produced and frankly, no better than at a pizza parlor. Considering the high prices, I would’ve preferred a pizza parlor! The overall atmosphere was noisy. The waiter was good. But I wouldn’t recommend it—at least not for ... read more
Appetizers were good, and drinks were good. We were seated late, which probably had an impact on the review, but the lasagna -- it looked like it had been cooked ALL DAY on high. It was inedible. Brown and very unappetizing. We didn't touch it and the wait staff did not ask how it was, nor did they ask any questions when we said we were finished without touching it. While the wait staff was otherwise great, we will not repeat.
The restaurant has changed. Very expensive and just ok. Bread served was dry and hard. A cheese pizza is 26.00. For that price I can get a pizza at the Four Seasons. WS. Dry disappointed.
We were very disappointed in our dining experience Thursday night 8/8/19. We used to love the restaurant but this time it was mediocre at best. Our starter of 3 choices from the antipasto bar came out flavorless and look warm. Salad nothing to rave about but the pizza was great as usual just not hot. The place just seemed tired! Sadly we won’t be going back☹️
