A special place in New York City on most ever visit. Wonderful food lovingly prepared with pride. The people are truly interested in making your visit and meal memorable.
service was good. the food was excellant and plenty.
Always a treat to return to a favorite eatery in New York City, especially pre-theater. Good menu, well prepared and prompt - even when busy. The service this visit was more than affable - he was friendly, polite, efficient and witty... Plan to do it sometime.
Dining at Trattoria Dell'Arte has been a Christmas holiday tradition for my husband and myself for many years (in addition to other visits). We are always warmly greeted, the food has never disappointed and the service is top-notch. Would highly recommend, in particular for special occasions.
We have eaten at this restaurant 5–6 times. The food is wonderful, and when you check-in, you are greeted warmly, almost as a long lost relative. Everyone is responsive to your being there. This was my 2nd time here. The restaurant is always busy and bustling. A bit too noisy for me but luckily we got a quieter table. Service was good though we were approached by more than 2 servers a few times asking if everything was ok and if we wanted anything else. Found it a bit overbearing. Food was nice - pizzas are highly recommended . We shared a tiramisu which was yummy
Exceptional!! Dined here twice in two days - incredible food & outstanding service ! We are vegans and the veggie antipasto options are greatly appreciated & yummy.
Never disappoints. Always glad I decided to make a reservation. Turns out it is also a long time fave of my guest.
We were seated quickly after waiting in a slightly odd line towards the back of the restaurant. We shared the meatballs to start and both went for the lasagna, which is the house speciality. The food was very good and the portions generous, though a bit on the pricey side. Our server was very friendly, though it was painfully slow, despite the restaurant not being overly busy for a Friday night. Overall a reasonable experience and would go back to try some of the other dishes.
