Trattoria is always our first stop when visiting NYC. Every meal is perfect every time.
We had our rehearsal dinner here 1 year ago, came back for our 1 year rehearsal dinner anniversary. Cannot overstate how much we like this restaurant. Excellent.
At Trattoria Dell'Arte you will get the perfect Italian dining experience : superior food, fabulous ambiance and entertaining employees!
Friendly, warm, welcoming, courteous service, from the moment you walk through the door. Service is quick, food presentation appealing, Of course it's very convenient for anyone attencing events at Carnegie Hall, right across the street. No waiting, whether to be seated, have your order taken, food delievered, check ready when you are ready. I'd make it a regular for dinner whenever I'm going to Carnegie Hall. I should also note, and praise the restaurant, for having and identifying vegetarian offerings on the menu.
Usually a better experience but this visit did not meet our expectations. FooD was okay but poor service and wait time left much to be desired.
The best way to get to Carnegie Hall is by first having dinner at Trattoria Dell'Arte, which is right across the street. The waiter described the crabs as being small, but to us they were ENORMOUS and ENORMOUSLY DELICIOUS, ... read more
This was the best Italian restaurant to which I have ever been. I am Italian, and am very picky on Italian food. Many Italian restaurants add too much garlic to their food and it overpowers it. This restaurant was not garlicky at all. There were 4 of us, and I tried all the different things we all ordered, and they were all excellent. The meat sauce is perfect, their lobster risotto was awesome, the veal parmigiano was huge and very good. The service was great - we loved everything about it. I will definitely come back every... read more
A friend and I were visiting Manhattan and went to Trattoria Dell'Arte for dinner. It was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding! It was so good, we went back for lunch two days later
Food was very good. Service was a little slow but as we sat outside that may have added a small delay. Overall - good place to go to.
