This is by far my favorite restaurant in NYC. I go at least once on every trip I make to NY. I also have family in the area and we meet up here - whether its one or 6 of us. We love eating at the bar but many folks know about that and hard to get more than 2 seats. My latest find - ask for the wine room. A bit more intimate - we really enjoyed the space. We are thinking it would be perfect for a smallish private affair as well. The menu is FAB and never disappoints. Our favorites - beet salad, the pepperoni and arugula pizza... read more
Very cosy restaurants, friendly staff and super Italian food. Try their thin pizza's, amazing!
This resturant was recommended by concierge at our hotel.. (we stayed in the Columbus Circle area). So glad that he did! There are so many Italian resturants in the city and we have tried quite a few, , but this one was especially good. The food was wonderful and the service superb. They will assure that you get to the concert on time. Very efficient and friendly staff. I always try the Branzino wherever I go.. this one had a great flavor.. stuffed with some rosemary and lemon. the portion was substantial and though not file... read more
Tremendous Italian dishes and the flat pizza is a great app. Service with a smile and terrific food. All four of us enjoyed the experience.
A greeting with a smile is how you start your dining experience at Trattoria dell'Arte. As our table was almost ready, my husband and I were handed glasses of Prosecco for the wait. Once seated we chose appetizers and entrees: a straccietal chicken soup with a poached egg , an heirloom carprese salad, spinach pappardelle , and a pasta carbonara . For dessert, we shared a Tartuffo and tea. Our service was excellent as usual. We have eaten here before and each time have enjoyed our choices from the menu.
Great food but overall all the dishes where priced pretty high. Overall a great experience though, excellent service and super friendly staff. We will be back for sure.
PLEASE find a way to put a rest room on the main floor - perhaps where the coat check is located. Many of your patrons are older and/or handicapped and those stairs are a killer.
The maitre-d' was super and my waitress efficient, attentive and very helpful with suggestions, especially with the Italian wine list. She made great suggestions and the service was quick even though there we several very large tables dinning. This is a great pre theatre of after theatre stop for some good Italian. You'll find they are interested in making your dinning experience a great one. I'm glad I crossed the street.
Excellent service. Fine, wide/ ranging menu. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Convenient to Carnegie Hall. Always a pleasure to dine here post-performance. Vegan-friendly.
