We have been going to Trattoria Dell 'Arte for years. It is spectacular. Food excellent, service amazing ..the experience is always wonderful!
The staff was very accommodating as a large group of friends celebrated an award received by a one of our favorite people. Took care of all our needs and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend !
Trattoria Dell'Arte is in the heart of mid-Manhattan on 7th Avenue between 56th and 57th Streets. When we were there there seemed to be a lot of energy and bustle around the restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The food is very good. They make their own pasta. There were four of us and we each ordered something different and no one left anything on their plates. Nicest waiters and maître d. Food was great. My 18 year old son and 8 year old daughter were happy as well.
Took clients here for pre-theater dinner. I love it when a restaurant choice makes me look good! Service was among the best I've experienced anywhere in the world. Food was excellent, and there were plenty of delicious vegetarian choices.

Great food & wonderful service!!! I chose this place online and made reservations. I was nervous because my husband is a type-a perfectionist and has high standards. He (we) loved it!!! My husband had the soft shell crab (seasonal) and I had seafood risotto., and cannoli for dessert. The cannoli was the best I've ever had. We will come back next time we are in NYC! It was absolutely perfect.
The service was outstanding and attentive without rushing us. Location near central park just south of upper west side. The menu was largely poultry, fish, and pork but had decent vegetarian food, and we had the homemade mozzarella capri salad which was the best mozz I have ever eaten. Wait staff was very attentive. Great selections on the menu. Looks like everyone in NYC is offering Hen in the Woods mushrooms right now. Outside dining is a plus.
