This place never disappoints! Whether it's for lunch or dinner food and service is always outstanding. Very cool and casual and not stuffy at all. Everything from the huge Antipasto bar to pizza's to the full blown menu rocks. The veal chop (parmigiana) is unreal! Perfectly priced as well.
We arrived at 5:30 and were greeted warmly; the service was excellent and attentive. Noise level was fine until shortly before 7:00 pm when it became disturbing. The calves liver was astoundingly good, the pesto excellent the veal scalopine was overdone and rather tough. Well worth another visit.
This is a perfect restaturant for a pre Carnegie Hall drink/dinner. There is a wide variety of antipasto and wine for those who do not want a heavy pre performance meal as well as very large portioned entrees for those who do.
I had grilled sea bass before a concert at Carnegie Hall. My wife had a thin-crusted pizza. The food, service and attention by the wait staff was very good. The restaurant draws an over 40 crowd and is consistently filled for dinner. It is a good place for a large group with large tables and a separate room if required. Overall, very good.
Consistently good food. Can get noisey if set in the center. I sat in a booth and the noise level was moderate.
Pizza is amazing and so are the pastas. Antipasti bar has such an great range of different vegetables and seafood. I love this place!
I took my wife to the city on the weekend for her birthday Just for a dinner and a show. After scouring way too many reviews, I selected Trattoria Dell' Arte. I am soooo glad I did as our experiance was over the top, Our waiter Jeff was absolutely the best. The food was some of the best I have had in all my adventures accross the United States. In passing Jeff had heard it was my wifes birthday. To our surprize he presented her with a complementary desert with a sparkler in it. I am glad I only live a few hours from the city... read more
Went here for my wife's birthday. Service was wonderful our waiter went above and beyond. My wife really enjoyed the birthday singing they did all they could to make it a special dinner including free dessert and after dinner shots. My only complaint is our table I had requested a great table and I believe we had the worst one in the restaurant. Part of the blame falls on us for arriving late. And now for the food it was fantastic. Didn't go there intending to eat pizza but when I saw our neighbors devouring one I had to try... read more
When we arrived, the restaurant was wall to wall people. The Management were very cordial and offered to take our coats. Once seated, food was splendid and service was lovely! Booth for four was a little tight. I would have liked a table with chairs. I do look forward to going back again but will select a non holiday time of year. When we were walking out, the maitre de thanked us for our patience since we had to wait about 1/2 hour for our table.
