Just a favorite of mine and my wife's for at least 15 years. The food is great, the ambiance is very energetic and knowing the manager makes it a go-to place for us.The wait staff are always friendly and helpful.
The veal was tender and the favors were perfect. The pasta was cooked just right and the meat sauce was very good. The wine list was reasonable. Very nice atmosphere.
Our food was excellent, the service spot-on and the ambiance is warm and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Quite nice. We even got to see Renee Fleming at the restaurant after we saw her across the street at Carnegie Hall. A good evening.
Food was excellent and well priced for New York. Service was a bit slow to start, but our server was very friendly and did a nice job. It is a typical New York restaraunt, you sit on top of the people next to you and it is EXTREMELY loud. The pizza was amazing as were the deserts. Wine list was marginal.
Sometimes too loud for conversation although we were graciously provided at table in the back after a request for a quieter table as we had 7 people in our party. We very much appreciated that and it made our visit much more enjoyable.
My favorite stop in NYC. Great Italian and great seafood. I went for the scallops. They were excellent. Don't miss the chocolate mousse. It is decadent. If you see the GM Brandon, say hello. He is a great host.
Unpleasantly loud on a Wed. night after 8. Service was fine, food was serviceable. The location is KING. But that noise...!!!
Really tasty food from a menu that features popular dishes and does not try to be too clever. Quality very good and Pizza superb. Service really warm, friendly and attentive and makes you feel that they want you at their restaurant .Simply a great EATERY
