great service. went as a solo diner and portions would have been much better to share. food was well prepared and wonderful. next time will go with a group to share antipasto.
Just love the Dell'Arte's it is Fabulous. The food, wine service and the energetic feel of the restaurant would always recommend. It is perfect before or after the theater.
There are so many great restaurants in New York with great food. What makes this restaurant stand out is the excellent service and great hospitality. We had a group of six and shared some appetizers from the antipasto bar. The burrata cheese is delicious and so were the artichokes. I had the scallops and potatoes which were carmelized to perfection. Be sure to reserve, this restaurant is always very busy because of its great food and its convenient location next to Carnegie Hall.
Very good food, but expensive for basic italian - even by NY standards.
love love love trattoria dell'arte. i make a point of eating there every time i am in new york. it's fun, the food and wine are incredible. the service is amazing...the people who work there are the best! this trip, we ended up going 2 nights in a row. the pizza and the veal parm are to die for. also you gotta have the antipasto. one thing i forgot to do was mention open table and get my 100 points..
Very busy and with the food quality, it is understanding. Got a feeling that regulars got the prime tables. Having regulars is a complement to resturant. I wish I could frequent Trattoria Dell'Arte, but don't live in NYC
Outstanding meal and service: we two had (freshly made pasta) spaghetti Matriciana, plus an excellent glass of Cabernet Sauvingnon.. we had a table to ourselves and were able to talk quietly for two hours during our leisurely meal. The waiter was attentive, and was happy that we were both musicians (he is a singer/guitarist). For dessert, shared chocolate mousse. A lovely evening!
Great service. Maitre d' was very accommodating with my request for a quiet table. Much appreciated.
We came to Trattoria dell'Arte after singing at Carnegie Hall for a late night supper with old friends in New York. The staff couldn't have been nicer when we wanted to add seats at the last minute, and have a variety of things at the same time. The food was delicious -- we enjoyed the savory thin-crust pizzas, and an abundant and delicious chocolate mousse, as well as the wine recommendations. Again, a highlight was the humor and amiability of all of the serving staff. Several of our singers brought groups to the Trattoria,... read more
