Great antipasto, although limited. Huge portions. First time we have taken a doggie-bag into a Broadway play.
Great location. Across from Carnegie Hall and close to City Center. We went for brunch before a 2 PM City Center show. We shared two appetizers and then each had an entree. Food was very good. The wait staff was excellent and friendly.
Trattoria Dell'Arte never disappoints and is always consistent; all the food across the entire menu, from the marvelous antipasti offerings to perfect thinner-than-thin crust pizzas, and beautifully prepared main courses, everything, service included, is ever and always pleasingly good...
Interesting menu for people who like to eat healthy but overpriced for vegetables. Way to loud...not sure I would go again. Service slows up towards the end especially if you need change...what's that about?
We sat upstairs and it was quiet enough that we could ftalk. Waiter was over confident and service slipped thus the 4 star instead of a 5. Food is always excellent.
This is the 2nd time we have eaten at Trattoria Dell'Arte. They have the absolute best waiters in town. So nice and helpful. We had a great bottle of Sancerre. The Pizza is very, very thin crust so it is a good compromise if you need some carbs but don't want to ballon out.
Great place for before the theatre. Our waiter said a dish was appetizer size when it would have been plenty for a main course for at least women.
Had the lasagna - wasn't really all that special especially for what they charge. Large portion but lacking. Had the caprese salad and calamari apps. They were pretty good. Don't think I will be heading back anytime soon. Prolly should have ordered something different for a main course.
Trattoria Dell'Arte was highly recommended to us as a great place to celebrate our anniversary. The service and people were awesome! It was a wonderful night of celebration - Thank you!
