Dependable, great for Carnegie Hall nights.
Although the food here is decent (my Dad loves the Osso Bucco, but I found the Veal Parmesan ($48!!!) to be a bit TOO pounded that it was missing flavor) I just don't find it to be worth it. This last time we dined pre-theater and were stuck in the wine cellar, alone. Just me, my wife, and my parents for almost half the meal until finally one of the other tables in the room were occupied. It was silent when we weren't talking and very cold in there. I just wish the bread wasn't so good. I judge a restaurant by many things, the bread is one. They put a lot of attention to that. The pizza was delish as were the veggies from the antipasti bar.
so convenient to Carnegie Hall as well as City center, this restaurant had a charming menu of foods prepared just a little differently and deliciously! the wait staff was efficient and polite and accomodating. A little pricey so not an everyday luncheon.
Everyone was very pleasant & helpful. We were several people arriving at various times & the staff was great! Food was wonderful. Great experience.
The Veal Chop Parmiggiana is simply the best.
don't miss the antipasta, fried artichokes, and cannolis with blueberry sauce
Good for business meetings. The staff is terrific at making each diner feel welcomed. There are lots of treats that are brought by the tables, making for a festive atmosphere.
