Always reliable and consistently good. Staff always makes you feel very welcome and the veal cutlet parmigiana is truly a wonder.
Their sister restuarant, Cafe Fiorello is a better option. However, very convenient if you're going to Carnegie Hall as it is right across 7th avenue. My wife and daughter enjoyed their red snapper, but my house specialty lasagne was burnt. So it's hit or miss on the food. The service was OK, but rushed.

A nice place for a business lunch. Warmly greeted by the host and the by a very helpful and attentive waiter. Lunch overall was very good; there were a lot of options from which to choose. The pace of the meal was excellent - not feeling rushed or delayed. Will definitely return - perhaps for dinner.

Excellent but has gotten very costly.
We came to the restaurant with a pretty high expectation. We were pleasantly surprised with the the food, wine list and service. The service was very attentive as what we have experience with fine eating establishments. The tuna was wonderfully prepared and the portion was perfect. Delicious pasta dishes. One pasta dish reminded me of the light tomato sauce/gravy we had in Rome. Highly recommend the restaurant.
This choice for dinner was the highlight of our trip! My sisters and I were in the city for a weekend trip and the staff made us feel so special and it was a complete hit! The food was wonderful and everyone was so attentive. We will be back and make this a permanent item on our future trips. We loved everything about it and can't wait to come back!
Only problem was tiny portion of eggplant parmigiana.
