This is a perfect pre-Carnegie Hall cocktail/dinner favorite.

Awesome veal chops either straight up or parm. The antipasto bar had a wonderful selection of delectables. We decided to forgo our tix to a commedy show to linger over gastronomic pleasures instead. No prob.

It is what it is. Across the street from Carnegie Hall, 6:15 PM reservation, pre-concert, jam-packed with other concert goers, seated immediately honoring our reservation (with comment acknowledging Open Table). The food was outstanding, service less than attentive, but she was juggling many tables. And we were out of there and on time for concert. Certainly not a relaxed evening of dining, but it was really never intended to be that. I don't think we could have asked for a lot more, it served our purpose that evening.

great service. went as a solo diner and portions would have been much better to share. food was well prepared and wonderful. next time will go with a group to share antipasto.

There are so many great restaurants in New York with great food. What makes this restaurant stand out is the excellent service and great hospitality. We had a group of six and shared some appetizers from the antipasto bar. The burrata cheese is delicious and so were the artichokes. I had the scallops and potatoes which were carmelized to perfection. Be sure to reserve, this restaurant is always very busy because of its great food and its convenient location next to Carnegie Hall.

Very good food, but expensive for basic italian - even by NY standards.

Very busy and with the food quality, it is understanding. Got a feeling that regulars got the prime tables. Having regulars is a complement to resturant. I wish I could frequent Trattoria Dell'Arte, but don't live in NYC
