My niece stayed there May 13 2024 for a week. She said the smell was so bad when she got home she had to wash her clothes twice to try to get rid of the stink. She said everything smelled old.  I feel bad I offered her the condo  She did let Tan know but nothing was done.  She said plenty to do around there but the condo was not worth going. I think plan could weed out some of the bad rentals. I’m sure she isn’t the only one to complain.

Denise Brown We have been member for years and always enjoy our self’s. Your customer service employees are always helpful and pleasant now for my problem. On May 13, 2023 I booked the Tower in Myrtle Beach for May 4, 2024. Not sure of the date but we got cancelled because Tower wasn’t ready. The room we got was not up to Tan standards. The floor was dirty where your feet got black, the bedroom rug were black needed to be replace or cleaned. The bathroom floors were cracked and so was the counter for sink. Yes they w... read more

Excessive fees that get higher every year. The last two places I stayed had several problems. I stayed in Nashville and was greeted by dog feces as soon as I opened the door. In addition, we were suppose to have somewhere to park at the condos. We had to park on the street. When I stayed in Georgia, we didn't have any television for days. Were told when we bought extra weeks that there were handicapped accessible rooms. My husband just lost a leg and thought getting extra weeks would help him with his loss of leg. We booked a condo with them knowing that he was in a wheelchair. When we arrived he couldn’t get into the kitchen, bedroom, or bathroom!!!! When I called to complain they said there were no handicap accessible rooms. They also promised us an extra week which we didn’t receive. Horrible company taking advantage of people just to get our money

i have been with TAN for 16 years and paid my maintenance fee for all this time. However, I booked a trip for March with VAP insurance and with the elimination of many properties including the North Carolina properties unless you're a VIP and the tripling of the maintenance fee I would like a refund and to cancel my membership. I was told no refund only a credit. Well if I no longer have an account how would a credit help me. I can’t believe that I can’t go back to the Outerbanks. I was there and would love to return. But only good for VIP customers. I was never asked to be a VIP customer. How dare you. Not there is no availability in Cape Cod, Mass No availability in Marco Island Florida. No availability in Outerbanks. Who do you think you are? I have been a customer since 2018. I have enjoyed the different vacations I’ve been on. But now. You have taken away vacation spots forth at I have vacationed in and only VIP customers are privileged to go on. How dear you take away and prices have jumped in expense and now I can’t go where I want. I think I should and would think about cancelling my policy and complain to the management about this unbelievable situation I can’t wait to see if you even consider an opportunity to make me a happy customer. Your new website is horrible. It will not allow me to look at properties it wants me to tell it where I want to go! But i need, to be able to look at all locations to decide were we are going! This company is a horrible company we bought 10 trips bad mistake and $10k later we realized this is a major rip off..we want to take one more trip and sell the other 7 trips for $3,000.00 firm.

Have been a member for YEARS and never have been able to make a booking. Now I'm retired I thought it would be easier. Tried to make a booking today for S. Carolina for date over 6 months out and was unable to even after speaking with an agent for help. Their "inventory" is obviously quite inadequate. Sure you can take a random vacation anytime to one of the random places they have available. But "Plan with Tan" is almost impossible. This is the 5th time I've tried to use this in the last two years with ZERO success 1 star b... read more
