Total bait and switch company. They ran a hard inquiry on my credit without telling me (before I even received a contract with terms) and then gave me an insanely high interest rate after we talked about a much lower rate. The guy who I was in contact with from the company, Marcus, was not helpful at all and barely responsive. I decided to try this company because it was recommended on Credit Karma, but I definitely regret not researching more beforehand.
I used this company to refinance my car. This company is not professional at all. They made multi inquiries on my credit without even telling me, and I had to freeze my credit profile to prevent further inquires. As result, my credit score went down by 12 points, and no better rate found!! Keep away from this company
Scam. Credit Karma send the offer and Tresl without even reviewing any documents closed the application.
If I could give Tresl zero stars, I would. My husband and I had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with this company. They strung my husband along for weeks, initially approving him and giving him the impression that he’d be getting into a better loan. However, their lack of professionalism quickly became apparent. person who I spoke to was very rude and condescending. when I told him I needed a few minutes to verify and confirm this is a legitimate company and would call him back, he replied that he’s “very busy” and tried to pressure me into allowing him to move forward. I am not one to be pressured to make a big decision about this, and his demeanor and attitude were terrible. will not be moving forward with this company or recommending this company to anyone.
On the credit card app it said take offer and the offer was 5.1% as opposed to the 10% that I was paying to GM financial I then got on the phone with trestle and did a credit check for that offer they come back and say they can only offer me 7.75%, I then said why did I click take offer then why are you guys offering something that is not a real offer I didn't click take offer to come on here with you and apply for another offer is what I told him.
My loan now says, “This application is no longer active” even though I followed ever step it said and just waited for a response. This is the 3rd time this has happened. Tresl has sent me an offer 3 times I’ve accepted it 3 times and had complications like this again all 3 times. Very disappointed in Credit Karma for promoting businesses on their website that are very misleading. Tresl is a waste of time and energy. It is a scam to obtain your information.
I was offered an interest rate in the Credit Karma app to refinance my car that was 6% lower than my current loan. In reality, once I submitted the paperwork and they did a hard hit on my credit – it was going to be 4% higher than my current loan rate.
