Bait and switch leading to a hard credit pull
I applied on saturday and told them i would have time to call them on friday. They closed out my application. Hard inquiry for them to close out my application before it was 7 days old! Pretty sure they change the terms of the loan after you apply because they asked if i was still interested and I said "Yes, if the terms are still the same or better. I will call by friday" and they took that as enough of a reason to close out my app.
I feel like I got scammed on the offer it said something under 10% interest rate when I got the approval it said over 18% I was going to spend more money on the refinance then I was on the original. This is called fraud as far as I'm concerned their interest rate was supposed to be better they're financing better there are terms on the loan better everything was supposed to be better and then when the paperwork came in it was way worse than I was paying through CarMax do not sign up with this company you will end up regretti... read more
First of all, there was no indication that the application wasn’t for a preapproval and was going to cause a HARD. Not to mention… they specifically stated that CreditKarma doesn’t have the ability to have the full picture and that all of the suggested rates at offer are bogus.
Only positive reviews are from fake accounts, check their formatting similarities. I really wouldn’t advise any “pre approval” offers on Credit Karma. They are paid ads for the purpose of information collection and unwanted solicitation.
Credit Karma, please stop affiliating with Tresl/Autopay Someone like me curious about the sweet deal - don’t be lured in. They will do an unauthorized hard inquiry before even showing you rates. The company is unprofessional and the process deceiving. Please beware.
They seemed to have a good interest rate so I applied with Tresl to refinance my 2022 pickup. After taking the time to fill out the paperwork work, they called to tell me I had been approved with a down payment of 39,000. What a joke, total waste of time!
