i am retired and stated that in the employed part i wrote RETIRED and moved on to the next section i thought i was done w/my app. the computer sent me back to fill out the employed section but noooo! the computer would not accept the RETIRED that i put in- untill they fix that problem i will just forget this company for refinaceing my car and yes i did call then to ask for help but i'll not hold my breath and if they do respond i'll post another conment either bad or good
They dont return calls and i had to remind them on the status of my application. They couldnt do anything for me.
Do not make an offer you can not fulfill. Received one email and one phone call. Pulled three dredit reports. Received three rejection letters. WORTHLESS
I trust in Credit Karma as advisor which is supposed to give you the best option but I see I was wrong. After been asked for many months to refinance my car with IFS. I made up my mind and I apply for it. After submitting the paperworks the only thing I got was the classic short answer saying "we regret to inform you that your application cannot be process at this time..." I tried to refinance with a 590 score, 20 on time payments and was rejected by instant quote. Definitely call 1st as I should have to see if you meet qualifications.
applied and was denied Reason was... too many inquiries on my credit report and my car didn't meet the criteria interest rate I have is 17% (bought the car 9 months ago when my score was over 100 points lower) 3% is what they offered me, excuse me, what CK said they would offer me... SO it was a NO BRAINER to give it a shot. score is a 665 for now at least. I am sure it will drop once these hard inquiries are registered I would pass if I were you! Sure wish I did!
Don't do it people! All they did for me is run my credit and told me sorry but you don't qualify. Complete waste of time.
I applied online through Credit Karma. Immediately I received an email telling me to call M-F, 9 to 5, to complete process. I called at 9:10 Wednesday and left Ross a voicemail. I didn't hear from him all day Wednesday. Or Thursday. So Thursday evening I replied to Ross's original email. He replied by email this morning saying Wednesday was his day off and he'd call me today. Four hours later, I still haven't heard from him. I don't think IFS really wants to make a loan. Service was good. All my scores were in the lower 700's. Denied anyway with a hard knock to my credit score. Was Credit Karma recommended so I thought I would try.
