Spent too much time on design, not usefulness. The room looked nice, sparse, but that’s the esthetic. However it did not work well. The tub/shower didn’t drain. So we couldn’t shower. It was difficult to use the soap dispenser for hand washing. Worst part was that the electric blinds raised and lowered themselves at random, all through the night.

The staff member who checked me in wasn’t very friendly! Water wasn’t hot for a shower the next morning!
TRU hotels are for the young, not seniors. We stayed three nights. They provided us with ONE Tiny waste basket in bathroom. Hall trash cans were Stuffed FULL nearly our whole stay. Not because they were never emptied, but because resident guests had no other place to put trash. Hall carpet was dirty all 3 days, never vacuumed. The room was dark all evening and night. Not enough or not bright enough lamps. We will not select TRU again.

The location is great on your way into AZ... nice and clean... but was disappointed they would not let us use the pool after check out on Sunday.

The general manager Michael was rude, & I’m not sure what his deal was but he was very rude I had been eating breakfast helping & elderly man get his breakfast etc he never once said anything to me or anyone else about wearing a mask nor is it posted anywhere within the tru Hilton saying you need to wear a mask. Ms. Barrett, you were asked politely to wear a mask, you decided to cause a seen and raise your voice in the lobby. You were not assisting an elderly person, in fact there were no elderly people in the lobby at the time of your outbreak. We actually had guest come up to us and Thank us for asking you to put a mask on because their kids have an auto-immune disease and they didn't feel safe. I wish you well and nothing but the best.
