Had a great time making the most of a perfect summer Saturday kayaking down the Cape Fear River. Staff made it easy from start to finish. Booking done in advance and all set upon arrival. Our time spent was shorter than anticipated - guess we should've spent more time floating back paddling but enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. Would definitely do it again via kayak, tube or canoe. Recommend for a fun outdoor weekend activity.

Had a great time floating down the river. Weather was perfect. Well organized operation. Super fun and enjoyable. A day well spent. We'll be going back for sure.

Highly recommend this outfit. Only gave it four stars because safety briefing was given by 3 different people. Each one of them spoke too fast and garbled. They could probably recite the briefing in their sleep, but for customers hearing it for the first time, it should be slower and more enunciated.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to the employees at Cape Fear River Adventure. We set out to have a trip down the Cape Fear on Saturday. We somehow missed our stop and floated further down the Cape Fear than we should have lol. The phone number to Cape Fear River adventure is on all the life preservers so it was easy to pick up the phone and call them. They found out where we were, came got us, offered us water on the way back in, and never complained. Couldn't have asked for a better adventure!

What a hidden gem in Harnett County, NC. I've spent some time Lillington, but I did not know that Cape Fear river adventures was here, until just recently. Very nice staff; helpful and welcoming. The guides are experienced and interact very well with all experience levels. Whether or not you want to kayak, tube-float or take a guided whitewater raft trip, they seem eager to accommodate. I went tubing with Cape Fear River Adventures for my birthday and it really was a lot of fun. They were quick responding to email with any questions and on day of since everyone had signed up online we just had to check-in. Definitely recommend signing up and signing all the waivers online before you arrive. It was a busy day on the river but it never felt too crowded. Awesome morning out on the river! Cape Fear River Adventures supplied the kayaks and pointed us in the right direction for a few hours of fun on the river. Their equipment was clean and in excellent condition, staff was friendly, and prices were great. Too bad there is no real white water option. We will definitely be back again soon to try the other trips they offer!

Best thing to do in the summer heat! Love the friendly staff! It is super easy to get on the river, the bus is always running to pick you up at the end of the trip, and the river is great in between! We live in Raleigh and end up doing the lazy river tubing 2 or 3 times a summer. It is the best.

We did the 10 mile challenge and I couldn't have asked for a better first time kayaking. The river was pretty easy, but you had to keep paddling because the current was almost nonexistent. We got stuck a few times, but it was easy to get unstuck. They were on time to pick us up at the end. Friendly staff
