LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. i have absolutely no complaints. other than i wish they had an in between kayaking distance. i get why they don't bc of all the homes. but other than that. the guys who work here are so funny, so great, and so friendly! after our 10 mile kayaking trip we got picked up, who i think his name was Nick. he had cold water for us and a nice cooled van. i definitely will come back!
I did the Epic Overnight with my 13 year old son last weekend. It was a great trip, just enough adventure with some small rapids and rock gardens to keep things interesting during the paddle down the river. The Cape Fear team did a great job getting out on the water and made sure we had a good time. The canoe camp sites at Raven Rock were good too. Definitely recommend if you want a nice little overnight adventure.
What a fun experience! Friendly staff, quality service. Overall great time. I would recommend this for anyone who love spending time outdoors and on the water.
So much fun!! We rented a canoe and went upstream to go fishing. It was fantastic. We saw two bald eagles, a blue heron, osprey, and kingfishers. Every single staff person I talked on the phone or met in person was friendly and helpful. They were professional and efficient, and moved large groups through very quickly. The equipment was in great shape. We can't wait to visit again!

This was the second trip with my two kids ages 9 & 13, which leaves me with a few thoughts and words of advice. First, if you're an adult, (and I hope you are) tubing down a slow moving river can be super relaxing. Letting the current carry you, not a care in the world. It's awesome. Trying to relax with kids around however, can be a lot like brushing your teeth while chewing Oreos. We floated for four hours. The first two and a half were pure bliss. Loved every minute! Our family of 4 went down the easy float in a canoe. The kids ages 8 and 5 swam in the river some along the way. The staff was excellent and we had a terrific experience!

Last weekend 100+ classmates and I booked a lazy river tubing trip with Cape Fear Adventures. From the moment we arrived, they were prepared for a large group and ready to make sure we were all set. Someone gave us a briefing, two guys delivered ice to our gathering place, and everyone else was very helpful on getting our large group into the river. I highly recommend booking with Cape Fear - I hope to use them again in the near future.

We were in a big party (but we didn't all tie together!) and ended up floating for around 6 hours. We had several cooler tubes and shared them to stow drinks and sandwiches. There were few directions, but it was easy to find the boat ramp to disembark at the end (and really, you don't need a lot of instructions on how to sit in a tube and move along the river). We had a great time just relaxing all day on the river!

Had a wonderful time on the water. We had a good time floating lazily down the river...enjoyed it with my family last Friday, took us nearly 5 hours as we stopped for lunch on a few rocks.
