I took a large group of people tubing last week and had an amazing experience with Cape Fear River Adventures. Everyone I spoke to with the company was so helpful and quick to get back to me. They had amazing customer service and gave detailed safety instructions to the group. We had a great time on the river and will definitely be back!

We just spent 2.5 hours floating down the Cape Fear and had a great time!! Online reservation and paperwork was error free.. we arrived slightly after 9 (you can arrive for tubing through the day, check with the desk for the cutoff time, it is earlier than closing.. processing and entry into the river smooth, and as I said a relaxing float down.. prompt pickup and a place to change out of your wet clothes.

My boyfriend treated me to the 10 mile challenge (it's actually 10.71 as they told us after) for my birthday as something a little different. What a great adventure my birthday turned out to be! We got lucky with the weather, and they warned us that the water would be high that day. All in all, it turned out to be both a peaceful and invigorating activity. Good price for canoe rental. In the water fast. The staff was super nice. One guy found my wife in Howard's BBQ to give her license back that I forgot to get. The only negative is the van ride back. They should not use fabric seats because they held lots of water from prior customers who must have gone tubing. All our butts were soaked during dinner.

Very friendly and helpful staff...they made it so easy from reservations, check-in, to getting our gear and getting in the water...had a wonderful leisure paddle with my grand daughter. Definitely recommend!

I had never been kayaking. I have a bit of a fear of "wild" waters. I'm an excellent swimmer, but something about being in uncontrolled waters makes me anxious. The lovely folks that helped me and my galpal (who is a regular to kayaking) get set up were extremely informative. The safety brief covered the terrain, emergency numbers, what to do in case of kayak tipping over or losing paddles and they are pretty laid back and inviting. Superb! A lot of fun and super relaxing. Would definitely do the tubing again. The cooler tube is a must. It's big so it can fit just about anything on it. The only downside was that the river is very shallow and a few times we would get stuck on rocks, or scrap our butts/knees. No knock on Cape Fear River Adventures though. Highly recommended!
What an awesome day! First off, I want to thank Neil for all his help in arranging our river adventure. His patience and professionalism was first-rate, top-class.
