I was told before the appointment that I’d be refunded if they weren’t able to help me and they weren’t. They just referred me to my primary care doctor or the ER.
Did not send in my prescription
I booked a virtual visit, after waiting 40 minutes past my appointment time I called the office and said I was still waiting. They claimed I hadn't paid a Copay yet and that's why I was left waiting (I had paid two hours prior as asked). Then I received another call asking about my Copay if I had paid it, and asking if I had been seen yet. After another 15 to 20 minutes finally they called and said a doctor would jump on. Wait times. I understand the clinic can get over whelmed. But please keep in mind that we schedule for what best works for us. Most people, myself included schedule around their jobs, taking kids to school. 45 min wait time for a telehealth is inexcusable. My appointment was at 10am, i waited until 1030am. The wait for virtual visit is absolutely ridiculous. Over 2 hours to be seen, this has happened more than once and I won’t do it again. Why even make an appointment?!
Provider was helpful and kind. However, this is not the first time a provider has connected well over my scheduled time. Today my appointment was scheduled for 12pm and no one connected until 12:45pm, after reaching out to customer care twice. Everyone’s time is precious during work days/hours.
The visit was fine, but the provider never sent the after visit summary to my MyChart. The provider told me to contact my primary physician for a CT order for my concussion, which my primary care physician can’t do without either the notes from the UH urgent care provider OR seeing me himself. I booked an appointment with my doctor for two days after my urgent care visit, but I would think something like a head CT after a head injury would be better to get sooner rather than later.
