Love the drs and techs. However The front desk used to be helpful and nice, but the last few months they have gotten all new people that have no idea what they are doing and seem so unorganized. They are the first people the public talks to and they should be doing better

Do not bring your pet here! They are invested in offering unnecessary procedures, rather than providing compassionate care for your fur baby. The vets I had the misfortune of interacting with did not appear to be experienced or knowledgeable and provided only cursory and generic commentary regarding my pet's (urgent and disconcerting) condition. Only if you want to be grossly overcharged and receive next-to-no-care for your pet, this is a clinic for you and your animal friends.

Refused to give me my pets prescriptions that were already counted out and ready because they were doing inventory.... even after they texted me to come pick them up before 7pm. I got there shortly after 5pm.... But no, inventory is more important than pets health. I've Been coming here for a while now, they used to be great, but now they are actual awful. Horrible place! WAY OVER PRICED ( the cookies and free pop are just to butter you up before they hit you with the astoundingly high bill). My pets are going to another vet for better treatment!! This place really sucks!!
I've gone to this clinic for years and the vet I saw is awesome but the clinic itself is a travesty. I'm done. I've literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars there, but when you need them in a pinch they will NOT serve you. There is always some excuse (not to mention the constant "can I put you on a short hold" which rarely is anywhere near short...you'll end up dropped) -- today it was 1) server down, AND 2) short-staffed, AND 3) covid. I knew more about treatment of the kidney disease affecting my cat than the vet did. It's a common disease in senior cats. Also check your final bill closely for additional charges.

We made a same day visit for our 2 year old Maine Coone cat who was very sick. Vet told me repetitively that "this was a life threatening emergency" and then proceeded to tell me that she could not drain his bladder and he would need to go to emergency vet. This service is clearly offered at the University vet, yet she had "block time for other clients" and her colleagues were not available. It was Friday afternoon and she was too busy. went their for a check up. was told a dental exam and cleaning would be 95 if i wanted that. called back 2 months later for dental exam and cleaning. Luck I asked for an estimate. 95, for the exam, $600 for teeth cleaning!!!!!!!! This was UPC's last chance with me. Previously Chewy dog food called them to fill a prescription for my dog and they did everything they could to prevent it, and did prevent it. Don't bother. They promised to call me and lied about what times they would call and kept calling me during my work hours, which I obviously could not pick up. Ended up having to text them questions and Shane was not helpful at all. Kept talking down to me and not even listening to what I had to say. Gave me zero help with my animal
