I entered into a Home Equity Agreement (***) only after thorough research. They did not disappoint. Mr. ******* was my service representative - he described the *** process in a manner that allowed me total understanding of the equity tool and process. I had a very good experience with Unlock. ***** explained everything to me and answered my questions about everything. If there was any glitch at all it was with the document processors as they seemed overwhelmed and didn't know what had been ordered and what not. ***** took PTO days during the process but called me before she left and reviewed where we were with the underwriting and how much longer to anticipate for the payout. Easy to deal with. Logical process. They made sure my wife and I understood everything and reviewed the terms twice at their insistence The process was also timely, and we were kept abreast of the process. The key to understanding this payback is that you must keep the home and the Unlock in place for the full 10 years. Otherwise, the cost is unacceptable.
