Bought new car, check engine light on just on 2nd day Bought new Hyundai Tuscon from the dealer. The agent was very helpful on selling the vehicle, no complain on appearance of the vehicle. But just on 2nd day of driving, the check engine light turned on which is the last thing someone wants on new vehicle. After that noticed the pick-up was not good and the steering became hard. First time here and was overwheliming As soon as we drove up we noticed a group of young guys standing around talking. When we parked one guy came and stood by the trunk of my car waiting for me to get out. You are unnecessarily approached/attacked by a salesperson as soon as you get there, no chance to look arounder or even walk in the building. Bad experience I will never buy from this dealership again, bought our very first brand new Santa Fe , told salesman about a couple of minor issues with the car , told me he will take care of them and after 3 weeks they still don't have my car ready
Sneaky snakes, women don't go alone I had a terrible experience at vandergriff. Not only was the description of BOTH cars I came to see were way off (not just a typo). Online the cars specs read: leather, navigation, moon roof, heated seats ect. In person the car had none of those items listed. D- Most likely that I will not come back to this dealership and my next car might not be a Hyundai! Changing the price after negotiations is unacceptable and not getting the car ready (fixing recalls) prior to delivering the car to the customer is unprofessional.
OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE, ONE BAD DETAIL All in all, I had a good experience buying the vehicle. everything went well, everyone was professional and courteous. The bad part - at no point was it pointed out that floor mats were not included with the car. Instead, I was left to figure it out on my own, days after I bought the car. When I called the dealership to ask about them, they said I'd have to pay upwards of $250 for floormats. That's ludicrous. BAIT AND SWITCH Typical old school dealership that won't honor their online prices. I went to their "Specials" section of their website, and there was a new Santa Fe advertised with a $4025 dealer discount plus rebates, bringing the car from $26,100 to $20,075 after some extra rebates I qualified for (loyalty). Worst Experience EVERRRRR! My husband and I purchased a vehicle from here April 2015. 1 month later we were in the service department because of an awful rattle coming from the wheels and even though we had the MPP extended warranty we had a hard time getting our car serviced. My husband went thru several managers in order to get the job done. Now, it has still been under a year and a piece of the gear shaft broke causing the car to not go into and out of park. HARD PASS I went in to buy a car here because I saw online they had a special on used sonatas. Love the car, not a fan of this dealership. Granted, I did walk in at 830 when they close at 9, but they did not address my concerns. I told them multiple times I was an out of state buyer and that the car needed to be titled elsewhere.
