Deceptive Dealership After speaking to the internet sales representative via email she led me to believe that I would be getting the internet price of the vehicle $23. 257. I confirmed with her at two different times the price of the vehicle and she reassured me that the price was set. Terrible communication and customer service Although I am extremely happy with my car, the level of service I recieved from Vandergriff Hyundai was very poor. My car had a minor issue that needed to be fixed. i realized the USB port didnt work the day after I bought it. I called 2 times and emailed to get it fixed with no response either time. Did not honor advertised price Very bad experience, the old bait and swich. They advertised a price on the internet. I confirmed the price with internet sales manager by email but when I got there it was suddenly $2000 more because of added options that I did not want. Wasted 2 hours of my time.
Poor Sales Tactics Went by this dealership a couple of times when looking for a car this summer and was very disappointed. They advertise a price on the internet and then add hefty additional charges when you go in to make the deal. (Bait and switch!) Take advantage of you These people are terrible. They want you to come back every 3500 miles and mfg requirement is 7500 miles (for 2018 Santa Fe) check your owners manual, Hyundaiusa website for your vehicle. I would never recommend.
Buyer Beware! This dealership uses bait & switch tactics in their online sales...the low prices you see online do NOT include “reconditioning” costs and “optional” fees that are apparently not really optional! Don’t believe their website Do not believe their claims of transparent pricing. There are almost $3000 worth of add-ons that aren’t shown. The price they claim you can get the vehicle for is not honored. They won’t offer you anywhere close to what your trade is worth. The only thing that is transparent is that this place is exactly what you think of when you think of shady car dealers. “Transparent pricing” to me means what you see is what you get. Not here.
Horrible experience Horrible customer service. I went along with a friend to buy a car for him. Bought the car and after we were back with the car on the weekend. He couldn't call his agent and get the insurance as it was weekend and the agent was out on Monday as well. He didn't drive the car at all through this period. Service advisor that was confusing I was very frustrated with my service advisor he was telling me that the mechanic stated that my car battery was not a Hyundai battery and that the cable was not fitting the battery prongs correctly. This made no sense to me since I had the battery replaced in December and my car has been working fine until a month ago.
