Very dissatisfied! I would like to start by explaining my experience at Vandergriff service. I brought my vehicle in on October 25th to get my power steering fluid changed, my indoor trunk latch replaced, and to troubleshoot a problem with the computer inside, pertaining to phone calls received and no name from contacts appearing. Do not use this service department If at all possible I would never recommendation to this service department. Very bad experience with length of time they kept my car and could not get a return call to save my life if you do by chance decide to take here do not use Keith as your advisor, extremely poor service.
Frustrated Tried setting up an appointment to get some recall work done. Dealer said they would have someone call back to set it up. Nobody called back! Finally called back a week later to set up an appointment and again they said someone would call right back. After about 5 hrs. nothing. So I called back again and asked what's up and finally talked to a guy named Keith. He set me up and told me to bring it in and they would take care of it. Horrible Service This was my 8-9th visit in 2017. First go around was the beginning of 2017 with my back left brake light not working. I had told them I knew there had to be a short in it, logically, cause it would come off and on. I had to return about 5 times until they FINALLY replaced the whole fixture. Mind you, a loaner was not given during this time. Then this last time around, I had had to go back 4 times. "Buyer Beware' - Dealer has not delivered all items sold (but missing at time of delivery) and did not convey that the tires have no warranty. Dealer also has not delivered two items missing from car. This is my 4th Hyundai in 26 months.....and my last. the 60 month/60K miles is useless if they are not going to enforce and are allowed to choose when to apply. Unbelievable, premeditated consumer trap.
Bad Customer Services Took my car in on a Monday 7/31 for a state inspection and told services advisor to contact me in case there was something to be done on car car was in services for seven days straight never received a call about the status of my car when I would call I was told they will call me back never heard from them finally on Monday 8/7 decided to stop by and check on my car since they weren't responding to my calls came to find out that day my car was sitting there all that time and nothing was done! Quality assurance Fernando Baltazar is a good salesman, the only bad is $ 5000.00 added at the end of the contract, still waiting for the paperwork signed,
It could have been better. 3 things could have been better that, to me, are big deals. One, not being notified or let known of the scratch/dig on the side of the car. I see that they purposefully avoided pictures of that side and didn't mention it. Was pouring that day so unfortunately I did not notice until I got home. Two, they were not knowledgeable about a Chevy car in a Hyundai place...even though Vandergriff ALSO has a Chevy place. Pushy " used car" salesman tactics. Our salesman was great and very genuine. However, The staffed who conducted the document signing was very pushy and would not respect my request to stop trying to sell additional products to jack up the price of our vehicle. What an insult and waste of our time; very disingenuous.
