This App worked fine until the last update. Now, apparently whenever I call a number using the extensions app (Wi-Fi only), the call is going through, but I cannot hear a thing! Turns out a number of my friends and acquaintances have been having the same problems. Can Vonage please step in and put out a fix? This is hurting what otherwise was a great app until the update.
Could have done better
This version messes up one thing it is suppose to do... making calls to correct destination! Someone calls my Vonage number, my landline rings once then stops, my forwarding cell rings endlessly like its getting a real incoming call. I call my own Vonage number from my cell, no ring on landline and after it stops my cell gets notification saying extension got mussed call from my wife!! perfect, pathetic.
App is awful. When call comes in if the app isn't open there is such a delay to answer a call.
...I want the Extensions ring tone back. Now it just rings like my iPhone and I want to know if the call is coming from my home phone. Also caller ID has disappeared.
I wish it has features to allow take/reject call coming in phone while Vonage call goes on, instead of killing Vonage call.
Not happy
Very unreliable.. Too many issues like audio quality, dropped calls, Vonage network connectivity, App freezes often with iOS 10. Whatsapp audio, Facetime Audio & Wechat audio proved to more reliable than the Vonage audio..
